The range of iPhones could soon receive a giant model, equipped with 4 inch screen.

A bigger iPhone and a smaller iPad, Apple is currently preparing an iPhone that is quite bing (more like a tablet) and an iPad with an elegant design, smaller.

The information was disclosed in a newspaper article published in Korean Times and retired after a very short time, possibly at the insistence of Apple officials. From here we learn that the iPad tablet will be slighty smaller, changing from the 9.7 inch screen with a smaller one, 7.35-inch diagonal.

According to information provided by the Korean Times, the first 4-inch iPhone screen supports the same resolution of 960 x 640 pixels as the current models of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

Even if the information could be a simple speculation, we must recognize that the 3.5 inch screen of the iPhone 4S is quite small by today’s standards, especially if we consider some regions from U.S., where the big mobile phones are in high demand. An iPad 2 tablet with 7-inch screen could help Apple to enter the tablet market more compact, appreciated by users for its light weight and portability.
