Facebook Integration on iOS 6?

The upcoming version of iOS has yet to be announced but there are definitely a lot of hype surrounding the iOS 6. This is because people expect that this future version will come with multiple new features much like the previous major iOS releases. In fact, it is also expected that the iOS 6 will be released hand in hand with a new version of the iPhone as well.

In iOS 5, people have seen the various integrations of the operating system and Twitter. This has been apparent as there were a lot of cases where you can upload or tweet your achievements to the social network. However, another integration that should have been made present for a long time already is the one with Facebook because this particular social network is home to hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

Apparently, it was said that Facebook integration was already made available in the iOS 4 although production was halted when the API negotiation between the two companies broke down. This rumor is apparently backed by the D10 interview with Tim Cook on which he stated that “anyone that has an iPhone or iPad, we want them to have the best experience with Facebook on those platforms.”

With this being said and done, there might just be a native integration between Facebook and the upcoming social network.
