FreedomPop is a name that a lot of iPod Touch users are familiar with. It is one of the few casing that adds cellular connectivity to your iPod Touch. The latest version of the FreedomPop casing is better than before because users will be able to get high-speed connection through 4G.

To those that are interested, the FreedomPop case doesn’t come in cheap. It starts at a price tag of $99 for the 4th generation iPod Touch. However, the good thing about this is that you will be able to get free 500MB worth of usage every month. If you use more than that, you can go for its Casual 2GB plan for just $18/month or the Premiere plan for just $29/month. As compared with AT&T or Verizon, FreedomPop is considerably cheaper as AT&T 3GB monthly plan is available for $30/month while Verizon has a 2GB plan at the same price tag.

Those that are interested can pre-order the latest casing. However, be sure to check the coverage area first to ensure that you are within the Clearwire’s 4G WiMax network. They are planning to move to Verizon LTE network next year so expect better coverage after they have done so.
