Using Sparrow+ as Default Mail App through Jailbreak

A lot of people have been depending on applications other than the Mail provided as default by the iOS. One application that has been a hit amongst iOS users is the Sparrow which was released a few weeks ago. It is certainly a great application to have as it supports multiple email accounts but its downside is not having push notification.

That all change with two different jailbreak apps which would make the application get push notifications. These are Sparrow Push and Sparrow+ but the one that interest us is the latter. Sparrow+ not only makes the app have push notification but also replaces the default mail app with Sparrow. This is certainly good for those that have made Sparrow as their favourite mail app.

In other news, the app search application called Chomp which was acquired by Apple was pulled out from Google Play. This was a bit expected considering that Apple and Google are fierce competitors when it comes to mobile operating system. Even in the website, you cannot see a search option for Android already as it has been removed by Apple. However, this may pave way to competitors such as AppsFire and a few others to do better in the market.
