Finding Murder Files among the featured apps, a peek at one screenshot was more than enough to make me grab it. And as it turns out, I have stumbled upon one of the best detective games ever!
You’re a detective from the Blue Toad Agency visiting the town of Little Riddle. Soon, your vacation is turned into a crime scene as the Mayor gets shot in front of you. Investigating into the crime, more murders and thefts take place and you’re to unravel the whole mystery!
Keen observation and puzzlings skills are indispensable for the game.
Investigate each suspect and listen carefully to there alibis. Collect evidences from crime scene and talk to witnesses. On each step, you’re slapped with puzzles and riddles. Solve them and put all the pieces together, to find the culprit.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of the game is the hilarious voice over. Each event is covered by the British commentary which will surely give you tickles. The graphics isn’t lagging behind either, with spectacular 3D animations.
Another cool thing about the game is that you wouldn’t get stuck in between. You can skip a puzzle anytime you want and proceed with the game. Spanned through 6 Episodes, there is plenty of gameplay to be covered. Each puzzle awards you medals and your detective skills are rated at the end of each episode. So are you ready to collect all the gold?
To conclude, Murder Files is an ultimate entertainer, both in looks and gameplay and considering the price tag, it is an overdoer.
