In a store full of great, 2D animated games, 3D-styled games usually look downright pathetic. Can Knockdown 2, however, is an exception and is a 3D game done right.
From the very first screen you learn that this game is swipe based. You cannot tap on which game mode you wish to play, you must swipe and throw a ball at the mode that you wish to play.
There are three game modes. The first is a timed target practice where targets appear and you try to hit the target as close to the bullseye as you can. You can get either 1, 2, or 5 points with a point multiplier for a bullseye. This game mode is incredible. In addition to the target shattering after a bullseye (the target is made of wood) is hit, there is so much detail. For example, a stray piece of wood or ball can affect a thrown ball’s path. Or a falling piece of wood can land on another target, which is part of the game’s incredible detail.
The next game mode is a survival mode. You have five balls to get as far as you can. Upon the completion of a level, you are rewarded with one additional ball. So if the first level takes you two tries, you will have two throws continue to the next level plus the additional one. This is by far my favorite game mode as it is incredibly fun and addictive. My only complaint, however, comes from this mode: if you knock a can down but it doesn’t fall off of the table, then you will have to use another ball to knock it off.
Finally comes target practice, but not like the first one. This one is a moving target practice, where cans are launched into the air and you must hit them as they move. This mode is by far the most difficult but it is, like the others, also incredibly fun.
Again, the detail of this game can be matched by no others. It is a great, quality game that is very addictive. Just like at the carnival, it is hard to quit.

What I Like:The gaming experience, detail, and power-ups. The survival mode is great too.
What I Don't Like:In survival mode, if you knock a can down but it lands back on the table, you will still have to knock it off.
Final Statement:Just like knocking down cans at the carnival, just cheaper and not fixed.
