Crosswords, sudoku, wordsearches, tangrams… You may prefer one over the others, you may hate all equally. If you’re one who does like tangrams (or brain teasers for that matter), then LetsTans Deluxe may be the app for you. And if you don’t know what tangrams are, there is an intro section in this app, although it’s mainly history.
There are currently 1,440 puzzles across 10 different categories. There is also a promise that more are frequently added. The most recent update, for example, brought 60 new puzzles.
In the options menu, there is the ability to change the number of hints you are allowed to take, allowing up to 7 hints per puzzle. There is also an option to change the skin of the game with 7 skins to choose from. Finally there is the ability to turn off the count timer, if you’re one who likes to take your time.
When it comes to the actual gameplay, it is good. You can rotate pieces by tapping. Multitouch would have been nice here, but tapping works fine. It would also be nice to have the timer reset when you restart a puzzle, but I guess that could lead to cheating (finding the solution, resetting, getting a three second solve time).
It is also good to know that you do not have to beat a level to progress. All levels are open, allowing you to continue playing even if you get stuck on one.
Not being a tangramer, I did find the game to be entertaining (the levels that I could do anyways). The game is a good time waster or brain teaser. Get it if you want either of those things in a game.

What I Don't Like:Some of the levels I could probably never do.
Final Statement:It's the game of tangrams without the necessity of tiles or the challenge cards.
