Hazrat Ali-ibn-Abi Talib (RA) was among the first adopters of Islam. He was also the cousin and son-in-law of the Hazrat Muhammad [pbuh]. As per the Sunni Muslims Hazrat Ali (RA) is the fourth Caliph of Islam. Sunni Muslims consider Ali the fourth and final of the Rashidun , while Shia Muslims regard Ali as the first Imam. Both branches held Hazrat Ali(RA) in very high esteem and give their greatest respect to this leader of Islam.
