Twittelator Pro is a complete iPhone twitter client by the creative folks of Big Stone Phone Company.

Twittelator Pro is a new application for your iPhone that you can download from the App Store on your iPhone and begin following people and posting Twitters & photos.

Our Review:

There are any number to twitter clients currently available for the iPhone. And it make sense. The iPhone is the ultimate mobile device. It's always with you and it's almost always connected. Since Twitter is about giving quick updates throughout the day what could be better that to be able to quickly and easily Tweet from your iPhone.

Twittelator Pro takes iPhone Tweeting to a new level.

First off, it looks great. As is the case with pretty much everything coming from Stone.com, it uses bold, bright colors. The various screens are well laid out so that even though the application has a tremendous number of functions it doesn't feel overwhelming. You can chose from three different themes, including blue, tan and what looks like a soft pink. I prefer the Blue that comes as he default. The importance of this can't be underestimated as you try to shoot off a quick Tweet in the middle of a busy day.

Looks only go so far, however and, fortunately, the app works as well as it looks. First off, I am finding Twittelator Pro to be exceptionally fast to load and change screens. Second, it includes a nice array of configurations. The options screen offers the ability to load Tweets at launch, load mapping at launch, use high res images for picture Tweeting, and auto-correct and capitalizing. There is also a function to turn the emergency button on and off. I don't personally get using Twitter in emergencies and I'm not alone. My friend Wayne over on Gear Diary noted, "If you have a cell signal I suggest calling police instead of asking Twitter-land to save you."

Because it is so powerful I thought I would include the rundown of features that are available over on Stone.com. The list, however, is huge and with Comcast soon capping bandwidth I decides to give a quick summary. (Okay, not so much but it IS a long list if I don't liberally edit it down.)

Easy navigation from Groups to anywhere
You can have as many accounts as you like and you can switch between accounts instantly

You can-
Start a Tweet from any screen
Paste in links, text & images
Reply to any Tweet or Tweeter
Private message any Tweeter
Add a map of your current location or a snapshot
As you write the character count is updated
You can cut and paste a tweet or image

Tweets are-
Large and easy to read
Copy-able by tap and hold

You can--
See just your replies, just your tweets, follow your friends, see everyone’s tweets etc

And the list goes on and on. Okay, you get the idea. This is a super powerful Twitter app that also looks great and is easy to use. As of today it is, by far, my app of choice when I Tweet.

Lucky for me, i won this app! Woo hoo!  I downloaded yesterday and have really enjoyed this app.  This app does alot more than the Twitterfon I had before.  The features are amazing.  I may be a little biased because I won it.  However, if you are a twitter-addict, than this app is for you!

I had been a devout user of Twittelator (lite) ever since I got my iPhone, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't think that there was any way to make it better. Then I got my hands on Twittelator Pro. The enhancements are astounding. Photos stored at TwitPic can be viewed as thumbnails within the relevant tweet. Individual tweets can be copied or retweeted. Replies can be threaded. The app can scroll to your last read tweet on startup. The list goes on. Twittelator lite is a great, stable little app, and since it's free, it's fantastic if you're not sure if Twitter is something you are going to commit to. If you've already decided to become a long-term Twitterer, Twittelator Pro is the only way to go.

This is my #1 application for Twitter via iPhone. Trouble free and worth every penny. I especially like: - You can add friends to tweets (to create multiple recipients) via a lookup box! - Ability to view the # of API interactions with Twitter left - Easy switching between the various views (friends, replies, everyone, etc) - Easy searching (saved criteria) - Bookmarking About the only thing I find difficult is the icons are VERY tiny -- in order to reply to a tweet you must precisely land the tip of your finger on the reply icon.Have not encountered any unusual system crashes, etc. -Wayne
