The Wordpress app has a singular focus- it allows you to post to a Wordpress blog- but it does it superbly.

Set up was simple. Using it was simple too. It lets you add tags, see and select your site’s categories and take and add pictures.

Creating and editing text is simple with Wordpress and it allows you to see a large number of prior posts which you can update and edit, as well. You can preview your post and even save it in a variety of states, including Draft, Published, Private and Pending. 

The settings tab allows you to password protect a post and even set the date for posting. This means you can save a post and have Wordpress publish it at a later date.

I used it to create a test post over on JAMM and it worked exceptionally well.

In short, Wordpress for iPhone is a terrific app for mobile blogging. It is powerful, stable, and flexible. I can see myself using it often. Best of all... it is free!

What I Don’t: It would be nice if you could control the placement of pictures. We don't use Wordpress on WOiP so I can't use the app here.

Final Statement: 

Wordpress for iPhone is a a terrific app for posting to a Wordpress blog and it is free. 'Nuff said.
