Trees of Life is an eerily odd game. Since it is free, I think it can appeal anyone. But geeks should love it. Why?

Your goal in Trees of Life is to “grow” trees to catch blue seeds. Trees are grown by moving two handles, the tree starts growing… and if it has branches in the seeds’ position will capture them.

Where is the geek appeal? Well, the two handles you move define an L-system that the tree will follow as it grows. Way cool. There are a lot of levels, and they get harder and harder.

Aestetically Trees of Life is a very pleasing game, and I think it will keep you entertained a lot in short bursts. Give it a try at least.

In short: Geeks rejoice! L-systems mayhem in an artistically designed free game: Trees of Life.
