There are many different baseball games out there for the iOS platform but Wannabat Season Plus really stands out from the rest. For one, the whole idea of baseball being able to be played just about anywhere like in a back alley or town square rather than a cliche field already draws much inadvertent attention to the game.
To start off, I was really impressed by the graphics drawn out by Wannabat Season Plus. While not quite the life-resembling 3D graphics seen in the games of today, given the fantasy themed effect the game exudes, Wannabat Season Plus does a magnificent job nonetheless in rendering virtual baseball players and ensuring that every pitch and smash looks reasonably realistic. You will get to see the little touches here and there put in by the developers through the cute little animations for scoring home runs and other great hits.
Gameplay itself proved to be rather simple to understand, with coordination and correct timing being the key that separates the normal players from the elite. Speaking of which, players can pit their skills against one another through the online function, which allows gamers to play against each other in real time. While I did experience some delays and lagging here and there, that was only to be expected given the game platform. This multiplayer function does a wonderful job nonetheless.
Priced at $1.99, Wannabat Season Plus is a worthwhile app to purchase. Other games of similar caliber would probably cost a little more, and this game will entertain you for hours.
