Birds are pretty popular in the App Store, huh? There’s the Angry Birds franchise, along with other bird-themed games like Tiny Wings and Air Penguin. These games aren’t popular due to their bird-based themes, but their simple, yet enthralling, gameplay.
Birds to the Rescue is another great bird game. Like the others, it is simple. Still, this $1 iPhone game is incredibly addictive.
In this game, you are a bird named Willy. Willy, who lost all of his mother’s eggs, is on a 60-level mission to collect these eggs. His journey won’t be easy though. He’ll need many seeds for the energy that he needs to continue on.
To help Willy collect seeds, simply tap and hold the screen to have Willy open his mouth. You’ll have to be constantly on the lookout for unwanted foods. Things like moldy seeds are not good to eat, so you’ll want to keep Willy’s beak closed so that he won’t eat these. Gum, unlike moldy seeds, won’t bounce off of Willy’s beak. So eat the gum to prevent Willy from having his beak temporarily stuck shut. Just know that gum won’t count towards the required seed quota to beat the level.
This game is a lot of fun, and it does become quite difficult, which is not a bad thing. Unlocking Willy’s five friends, which requires you to complete a specific level without error, really becomes a task, but it’s worth doing.
If you think you have what it takes to complete the many levels of this game, download it for only $1. You won’t have an easy time beating all 60 levels and unlocking all of Willy’s friends, but you will definitely enjoy the excellent graphics, sounds, and gameplay in Birds to the Rescue.

Willy the bird lost Mama's eggs, now you have to run across the Country to bring them back home! Traveling on foot isn't easy for a bird, so you'll need to eat seeds along the way! It will take quick thinking and a quicker finger to master this action-packed game!

Birds to the Rescue is an action game the whole family can enjoy! To complete each level, you will need to have Willy eat seeds. Each level has a different 'quota' of seeds to eat in order to pass. To eat seeds, simply touch and hold anywhere on the screen and Willy will open his beak to gobble them up! Sounds simple, right? Well, as you progress through the game, Willy runs faster - so you'll have to tap, tap, tap your way through to eat seeds as everything is sped up! Beware of new obstacles introduced on the later levels!
There are 30 levels to complete, but after you complete those, another 30 will be unlocked in Expert Mode. This mode is for experienced players that desire more than just a casual play experience.
If you are good enough, you can unlock 5 of Willy's friends to help him along the way!

• Your beak automatically shuts once you eat a seed, so be ready to touch the screen for the next one
• When there are multiple seeds in a row, tapping the screen quickly works best - Tap, Tap, Tap!
• Don't eat moldy old seeds, just let them bounce off your beak
• Eat Gum, if you don't it will stick to your Beak! If Gum gets stuck to your Beak, double-touch the screen to unstick it
