2.2.1 Woes??

Shortly after upgrading to firmware 2.2 .1 I noticed that my iPhone was remarkably sluggish. In fact, it locked up a number of times along the way.

I wasn’t sure, however, it was actually the firmware causing the problem since I am also currently running a number of different beta versions of applications, any of which might be causing some degree of issue. Well, after just getting off the phone with Brett it’s pretty clear that it’s the firmware.

Brett called me after spending a few hours trying to get his iPhone working. Throughout the morning he wasn’t able to make calls, send a receive text messages, or get a free 3G connection. Not good. Mike had been having similar issues. He had done a quick search and saw that there are issues being reported in California and Britain as well.

You can read a quick post on his personal blog here. His advice — "If you haven’t upgraded yet … wait." In fact, Brett went a step further and commented that if it isn’t resolved by the time he gets home he is going to reflash to 2.2.

Are you having issues since upgrading to 2.2.1?
