Wall Street Journal is a reputable media which often delivers excellent pieces of news. In fact, AT&T and Verizon Wireless customers have much to rejoice about because these two companies will be getting a 4G LTE equipped iPad for sale in the future. This much was said by sources “familiar with the matter” as quoted in the WSJ.

It is about time that Apple embraced the 4G networks as there are already a lot of tablets as well as smartphones that are 4G enabled already. Previously, a lot of people had hoped that the iPhone 4S would be running in 4G but alas that would probably be the case when the next iPhone is released. As the 4G networks in the states are expanding at a high rate, it would only make so much sense for Apple to join in the bandwagon. In fact, a lot of people expect that once Apple embraced 4G, there will be a lot more competition for devices that will be using the 4G network and it is also expected for the usage to be increased drastically.

The release of the next iPad is stated to be due sometime in the first week of March. Should that be true, then expect the rave of it to be soon.
