5 Best iPhone Apps for Halloween

Halloween is here, so it’s time to download some fun apps for this special time of year. These apps don’t usually last very long on your device (as they are seasonal apps), so we’ve taken the time to show you which ones are worthwhile.

First up is Halloween Defence. This game may be fun at first, but its monotonous nature makes it quickly grow dull. Our review here by Robert Zak. Summary: Trick.

Next is iMut8r. With this app, you can mutate any picture. Change yourself or a friend into a werewolf, zombie, ghoul, or other creature. The app is a lot of fun and works surprisingly well. Our review here. Summary: Treat.

The Creeps, a tower defense game, is a challenging game that you’ll play for hours. It’s incredibly addictive and… it’s free for the next few days! Our review here. Summary: Treat.

Then there’s Subrats Halloween. This game is kinda fun, at least at first, but repetition, obnoxious ads, and constant prodding to upgrade make this game not worth your time. Our review here. Summary: Trick.

Finally, there’s Carve-a-Pumpkin, designed for the younger Halloween enthusiasts. With this app, thousands of pumpkins can be made (and shared), all without the mess and danger of pumpkins and knives. It’s a simple app that will be a lot of fun for any kid. Our review here. Summary: Treat.

These apps (the good ones) are some of the best in the App Store. Try them all, enjoy them while they last, and have a Happy Halloween!
