This App crEeps Me Out!

The idea is neat… create a slide show of  public images recently posted to Flickr. What an interesting way to see what is going on in the world at that very moment (okay, a few seconds prior to that very moment).

If you see a cool image you want to see again in the future all you need to do is tap the screen. Neat!

If you want to share an image with someone else it is simple to grab the link and email it out. Double Neat!!!

All of which is good fun and since the feeds are public there’s no issue with copyright etc.

But this app’s icon just creeps me out…

Between the name of the app- Voyeur and the app’s icon (at the left) all I can say is "Yuck!"

I’m not a big fan of censorship but this is just wrong.

Note to developer- people don’t peak through keyholes to watch someone practicing violin or blowing out the candles at a birthday party. Then again you know that- it’s why you named it the way you did in the first place. Did I mention… "Yuck!"

Recommendation-   go grab The Tag Show. It does the same thing (only better) and does so in a clean, fun way.
