App Update – iHeartRadio

I’ve been on a bit of an internet radio kick lately. That isn’t a surprise since the iPhone, with it seemly switching between WiFi and 3G, makes a superb device for streaming music. When I looked at iheartradio I found it to be good but no great. While it streamed music in high-quality AAC the available radio stations were kind of limited. In addition I found the app a bit barebones and it did not work on my Touch.

Well, iheartradio has been completely rewritten and it definitely warrants another look. Among the changes…

–many more stations in a number of different formats

–a faster, more intuitive look-and-feel

–new features, including a "shake-it" feature, that lets you find a completely new station, a lookup by city feature , and a geo-locate feature,

–Tagging gongs you love

–A buy button to purchase the song from iTunes.

iheartradio is free and is available HERE in the AppStore.
