The iPhone 4S that comes with iOS 5 is certainly great but it does come with quite a major problem which is its iPhone 4S battery life. The problem was found to be from the iOS 5 itself but Apple responded by releasing a new version of the iOS 5 which is version 5.0.1.

Released on 10 November 2011, iOS 5.0.1 is said to have fixed the battery life problem that is persistent amongst iPhone 4S users. In addition to that, the original iPad users will find that there will be additional multi-touch gestures made available with the release of the new version of iOS 5.

Another improvement added was to the voice recognition on which Australian users will find that the dictation functions working better as compared with before. We assume that by voice recognition, Apple means Siri, its latest virtual voice recognition assistant found in all iPhone 4S.

Due to it being released recently, the result has yet to be seen across Apple users although through a poll made by Engadget, there are still users which stated that the problem still persists even after the upgrade but there are also those that said that the problem was fixed. Nevertheless, it should be given time before any words could be said about Apple latest iOS update.
