Year by year the Cupertino company had a successful run as its products continue to receive a healthy increase in demand. The start of the year has been very successful for Apple as well because it has reported a large increase of sales and in some aspects of the company, an increase of up to 128 percent.

This is a very healthy increase considering that the year has just started. It was reported that 37.04 million iPhones have been sold for this quarter which is an increase of 128 percent from the past year. However, Tim Cook had mentioned that this number would have been increased if there were sufficient supply of iPhone devices as the demand far outweigh the supply.

In terms of iPad sales on the other hand, the company had sold 15.43 million devices which is an increase of roughly 111 percent from 11.1 million devices sold at the fourth quarter of 2011. Sales of Mac devices were not on par with the sales of mobile devices as Apple managed to get 5.2 million units sold which is an increase of only 26 percent.

With this being said and done, the company is in no doubt having a great first quarter.
