Although it was said the Mac Pro will be launched at WWDC 2013, Apple wanted the whole world to know now about the Mac they were working on at the moment. What amazes us from the start is its design, Apple chose to completely change the way its Mac Pro looks and the above image is quite compelling.

Apart from design, Apple implements new Intel Xeon series processors (12 cores, 256 bits), Thunderbolt 2, 2 times faster than Thunderbolt 1 (20 Gbps), RAM 2 times faster than previous versions (1866 MHz DDR3 60 GBps) dual-GPU FirePro graphics produced by those from AMD and a new model of PCIe flash drives that are up to 10 times faster than HDDs implemented in Mac Pros (1.25Gbps).

The Mac Pro is Apple’s first Mac that supports 4K resolutions, Apple is promising to users that its product can display 4K resolution on up to 3 external monitors. The new Mac Pro will be released later this year. Stay tuned for detailed talks about this Mac and its specifications.
