Whatever Apple has added into the iPhone it was an instant hit. Although already common amongst many smartphones, video mobile conferencing took off when Facetime was introduced to the iPhone. Voice recognition on the other hand had also been revolutionized when Apple introduced Siri to the world in the iPhone 4S. However, the next iPhone might be delivering a whole new thing again and this time it is with the use of near field communications or NFC.

A lot of people are confident that NFC is the way to go for the next iPhone. This is because although it has exist for quite some time, there wasn’t any breakthrough that made it popular globally. However, with Apple joining the bandwagon, things may not look all the same.

The use of NFC in the iPhone is said to change the whole mobile payments because the device will lead the market should NFC be made available on it. Although Google Wallet is already available in the United States, it still works with only one wireless operator. Apple on the other hand has agreements with three different operators and that might give the edge as compared with the Google made product. Should this take off, then expect the world to be simplified a lot more but it would also mean that phones will be as valuable as a credit card in the future.
