If you are looking for a keyboard to go with your iPad Air, then this article might be of interest to you. Popular iPad keyboard maker Brydge has recently started accepting preorders for a new keyboard BrydgeAir aim directly at the iPad Air owners, and will not work with previous-generation models.

The keyboard brings with it not just a keyboard, but a backlit keyboard as well as stereo speakers in a much lighter design than their previous designs.

The keyboard will ship in October and the first 1,000 units will be sold at a price of $150, while the final retail price is expected to be somewhere around $200.

Very similar to previous products released by Brydge, the BrydgeAir uses a simple clip in design that allows the iPad to be easily secured to the keyboard. The device is then connected over Bluetooth, and in essence this turns the iPad Air into a netbook.

While Apple is expected to release a new iPad Air in September, they are not rumored to be making any changes to the design, which means this should also be compatible with the iPad Air 2.
