We have previously told you about Chupamobile, the leading marketplace for Mobile App components, now the guys at Chupamobile, have just announced that they have raised $400,000 from Angel Investors in the U.S. and Europe.  This $400,000 round follows the first seed round from Xandas New Media Ventures headed by Fabio Pezzotti. Co-founder and CEO Stefano Argiolas says:

“We have covered a lot of ground in the past 12 months, better understood our customers and publisher’s needs, built strong relationships with them and boosted the catalogue to become the leading player in the market. Our revenues are doubling each quarter and we clearly see the direction to take now. This is why we have decided to accelerate our investments and make this round”.

The second round includes investments from Semyon Dukach, a well known Angel Investor from Boston, U.S. Semyon states that he invested in the company because he “liked the strong team and their clear vision, as well as the impressive user growth already achieved with limited resources”.

According to a press release Chupamobile “plans to invest the proceeds in enhancing platform features and services, marketing and customer support”.
