If you have an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S and have recently made the new iOS 7 update, then you have noticed that unfortunately the phone’s performance dropped significantly and you are only thinking about to return to iOS 6, which , as you probably well know, you can’t.

The only way to downgrade from iOS 7 or iOS 6 or to iOS 5 is the one with iFaith and only if you have an iPhone 4 with saved SHSH files for the operating system version that you want to return.

Now, considering that most of you have no choice and will have to settle for iOS 7, at least until you purchase a newer device, I will show below what you can do to improve the performance of the new operating system on these two iPhone devices.

First, make sure that you have installed iOS 7.0.3 on your iPhone, this is the latest version of iOS 7 available today (12/11/2013).

Then follow the steps below:

1. Open the Settings application;

2. Select the General tab;

3. Then Accessibility;

4. Now access the Increase Contrast tab and enable it – this will disable transparency effects in iOS;

5. Now go back and visit Reduces Motion tab and activate it too – so you disable the iOS parallax effect and zoom effects that appear when you open applications, folders, etc.

6. Press the Home button and now enjoy your significantly faster iPhone running on iOS 7.
