FastClear jailbreak app modifies notification center

The iOS 5 comes with a few added features and amongst them is the notification center. The said feature was already available on Android devices for as long as anyone could remember but only now did the company incorporated it into their devices. Nevertheless, it is definitely a good and necessary addition and with the help of a jailbreak application called FastClear, it makes the notification center slightly better than before.

As of date, to clear the notifications from the iOS Notification Center, users will have to click the clear button and then X multiple times to clear everything off. However, FastClear tweaks this a bit by removing the need to click X. FastClear replaces the X button with clear thus removing all notifications with a single click, much like the concept present in certain versions of Android.

Although this feature is available in a few jailbreak apps present in Cydia, this is the first one that is available free of charge in the third-party app store. However, if there is a need to check on its alternatives, then feel free to check out applications such as NotificationCenter Enhancer or Springtomize2. These applications aren’t free and costs $0.99 and $2.99 respectively.
