Game Preview: Pat Pat Pets!

Pat Pat Pets! is an upcoming side-scrolling adventure in which you control quirky little ‘pets’ seeking to rid their dreamland of ghastly nightmare creatures. The game will feature beautiful hand-drawn graphics, which bring out all the pretty colours of this strange, as-yet-unnamed land.
Pat Pat Pets! will feature a fairly intricate character advancement system, which will include 13 different kinds of weird and wonderful magic items, and 16 available ‘pets’ to help you. As your pets improve, they will also change appearance, which will no doubt please the Pokemon sympathisers out there.
Your journey will take you through 5 different landscapes, each of which will contain its own style of monsters and nasties.
As expected from any self-respecting game, Pat Pat Pets! will support Game Center and allow you to share your achievements via Facebook and Twitter. While waiting for the game to come out (late August), feast your eyes on some of the pleasing in-game pictures.
