Google Tasks On iPhone

I received an email that requires me taking a specific action later today. Normally I would forward it to my Toodledo account so that I can later access it with ToDo, Toodledo or Ultimate ToDos, all of which sync with Toodledo.  Instead, I highlighted the text I needed and selected "Add To Tasks" from the Google dropdown menu.

That got me thinking, "What apps make use of the tasks functionality in Google?" Smarttime from LeftCoastLogic does but I’ve never become comfortable with its interface. A quick Google search revealed another option.

A post over over on Google Operating System from earlier today (amazing timing since my search was totally by chance) notes,

There’s a new interface for Google Tasks, the experiment initially launched as part of Gmail Labs. Now you can view and edit your tasks on an iPhone by visiting https://mail.google.com/tasks/iphone (a shorter URL: gmail.com/tasks).

You can learn more HERE.

Sure, it is a web interface and not a resident app but it does open open a whole new world of possibilities. What do you think? Would the option to stay in Google for email, calendar AND tasks be of interest to you?
