The Great WOiP Giveaway of 2008: Our Thanks

We’ve had a great time over the past week and a half sharing some of our favorite applications with you.

As a site dedicated to iPhone/Touch end-users and to the independent developers working hard to tap into the potential of these wonder devices, we couldn’t think of a better way to bring 2008 to a close (and to publicly recognize superb applications) than to give all of you opportunities to try out some things you might otherwise not have experienced.

We didn’t plan on the contest/giveaway being as large as it has been, but the overwhelming response and generosity of so many developers transformed it into something that has never before been seen on an iPhone application site.

Dozens upon dozens of promotional codes have been distributed because of the many developers choosing to participate and we wanted to take this opportunity to publicly thank them for their support and to encourage you —

Developers have not only worked hard to create some superb applications, but they have also been kind enough to provide the promotional codes we have been giving away! They deserve our support, our encouragement, and our thanks.
