Anyone using an iPhone has noted a progressive deterioration of the Home key. Far too often the malfunction of this button is repaired by Apple Care.

Like any electronic device the iPhone is intended to get old and we will see a series of small defects that can give the user problems.

The Home key is certainly the most used key on the Apple mobile devices, with this key we can get out from any application on the home screen. This is a fundamental key that can get us out from any situation when using the iPhone, if we think how many times during the day we are pressing this key, 365 days of the year is quite clear that this button is the subject to some physical hard evidence during the phone usage.

Obviously this does not justify the low reliability of this key. The failure of these keys means the downtime of our phone.

The sensitivity of this button was inherited by new models of iPhone, while this trend is observed on iPad 2, in this device Apple has installed a new key, clearly more accurate than the iPhone models, which provides a more decisive answer in any operation.

Will Apple (finally) improve the Home key with the arrival of the new iPhone 5? Or it will remove it permanently?
