Jailbreak might be illegal as far as Apple is concerned and it voids your warranty but it can easily be restored through the iTunes. For those that have a jailbreak device, you may find yourself wanting to take a look at Imperium which is a great application for those wanting to change the look and functionality of the App Switcher available when you double click the home button.

Imperium combines the use of Mission Control in the previous Mac OS X Lion update and the application spreads the App Switcher into three different pages. The first page would show the backgrounded apps and the second would be the system settings. The third one on the other hand shows all of the apps available in your device. You can also configure Imperium to replace the App Switcher which means that you can get to it by double-clicking the Home button, or through any other ways that you would prefer.

At a price of $0.99 from Cydia, it is a no-brainer to have it especially if you have the capability to pay for it. It is a lot more interesting than the native App Switcher application and you may find yourself having easy access to not only the backgrounded apps but to the settings of your iOS devices and more. Is it worth the purchase? You can definitely bet it is!
