Instagram 5.0 now allows the transmission of pictures and videos to different people

On December 13, 2013

Instagram application has been updated during the evening to 5.0 version, this update brings a much desired feature for users.

It is based on so-called “Instagram Direct” through which users of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch can send pictures and videos to different people or groups of friends. Using this option if you want to publish pictures or videos on Instagram, you can choose which people can see them.

When you open the Instagram app after the update, you will see a new button in the upper right of the screen. Once clicked, you will access a new section where you can see what content has been shared especially for you by other people.

To send a photo or video to specific people, tap the camera button to enter the same simple photo or video capture and editing screens. At the top of the share screen, you’ll see the option to share with your followers (“Followers”) or to send to specific people (“Direct”). To send using Direct, tap the names of the people you want to send your photo or video to, write your caption, tap “send” and you’re done.

Instagram 5.0 application is available for free in the App Store for everyone.
