The WorldWide Developer Conference 2012 was certainly a good one. A lot of things happened and as such, we saw the release of a Retina display MacBook Pro, a new and improved Mac Pro, Mac OS X Mountain Lion amongst other things. As expected, Apple had also officially announced the new iOS 6 which will soon be made available to almost all iOS devices in the market.

The new version of iOS will have more than 200 new things. Some of them might be those that you don’t actually notice but there are a lot that you will as well. Siri had some improvements of her own because now, you can also use Siri to open apps and get movie times. In addition to that, Siri will also be made available on the iPad as well. Another feature worth noting is the “Do Not Disturb” feature on which all notifications will be put on hold.

Facetime will also be working on cellular data instead of Wi-Fi. You can send pre-written SMSes and dismiss incoming calls with a swipe. These are just some of the many highlights of the iOS 6. For more information, you can certainly check out the Apple website.
