If you use the Videos app to view movies on a regular basis and they have attached a subtitle, then you will be glad to know that Apple has prepared something interesting for you in iOS 7. Through a new menu available in Settings>General>Accessibility>Subtitles & Captions, Apple gives us the ability to choose how the subtitles displayed for movies looks.

The Company offers several styles that they think we could use, but if none of them is not on your liking, then you can create your own style using the Create New Style.

In this new menu, Apple gives you the option to choose the font, size and color of text, background color and opacity on which they are displayed, opacity text in the screen, the style of edges letters and possibly if we want that text to appear in the first plan. With all these options, you can quickly set a style for subtitles visible through the Videos app, but if you don’t buy a movie with subtitles from iTunes Movie Store, then you must make sure that the copied one must follow the rules that fall under this system.
