iOS 7 introduces Control Center

On June 11, 2013

As Apple unveiled its iOS 7 yesterday, one of the great new features the operating system introduced is the Control Center.

iOS 7 comes with the controls you’ve always wanted quick access to in one convenient place. These include controls for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode and even Do Not Disturb. You gain access to them with a single swipe from the bottom of your device’s screen.

Control Center gives you the ability to stream music using AirPlay, play or pause a song, jump to the previous or next track and also adjust the brightness of your screen. You get instant access to apps like the camera, clock, flashlight and calculator.

Control Center contributes to the simpler, cleaner look of the new interface.
