iPad 2 Announced!

For those without the benefit of any Internet access whatsoever, the second-generation iPad was announced on March 2nd by Steve Jobs and the officers of Apple. While the resolution remains the same (sorry Retina Display fans), it does boast some improvements such as being smaller, thinner and having both a front and back camera, and the same battery life and price points. It’s also faster, running on Apple’s A5 Processor.
As if that wasn’t enough, it has an HDMI port (through an optional cable) and a Smart Cover (also optional). Did I mention it comes in both black and white?
On top of all this, iOS 4.3 is being released the same day with a bunch of new features. Plus we’re getting iMovie and GarageBand for the iPad.
March 11th can’t come fast enough.
