iPhone After 5 Years

Believe it or not, it has been five years since the release of the original iPhone and since then, a lot of things have happened. We saw leading company’s operating systems such as BlackBerry and Windows Mobile depleting from the market as well as the release of new operating systems such as Android and Windows Phone 7. However, the one that still leads the market today is no other than the iPhone which is powered by the iOS.

The iPhone can be considered to be Steve Jobs’ biggest and most successful product and even after the passing of the Apple founder, the iPhone still is his biggest legacy. As of date, there are five iPhone versions that have been released with a new one expecting to be released at the end of the year. The iPhone today is so successful that there are more than 30 million iPhone users all around the world with more being added by the day.

Along with this article is a chart showing how far the iPhone has become. The iPhone 4 and 4S remains as the biggest shareholder while the other three has less than half of the market share. Whatever it may be, the iPhone was and still is a game changer in the mobile industry.
