iPhone and iPad sales temporarily banned in Germany.

Karma does exist doesn’t it? Well apparently it does because previously, Apple has caused Samsung to receive a ban for sales on its Samsung Galaxy Tab in Germany and now, the Cupertino-based company has faced a temporary ban on its iPhone and iPad sales in the same country as well by the German court.

Surprisingly, the company that has caused this is not Samsung but rather Motorola which claims that Apple has violated a couple of Motorola’s patent which is related to mobile networking methods found in Motorola devices.

As of date, there are still Apple stores that are selling the devices but should the ban is imposed immediately, expect Apple to pay a hefty fine of €250,000 per violation and a six-months jail for Apple executives as well. However, the company will still be able to make an appeal for the court ruling.

When the ban is imposed, and it most probably will be, Apple will likely lose its grip on the country on which its mobile sales is ranked number two after the United States. Should this happen, Apple may expect to lose a significant amount of money as both products can be considered the lifeline of the company.
