We’ve always been aware of how prominent the iPhone plays a role in the market. In the case of telecommunications companies, it can also make or break the company because there is a large chuck of subscribers that uses iPhone instead of any other phones in the market. In the case of T-Mobile, the iPhone kind of break the company especially when it sees its customers being sucked by other competing companies in the market.

Statistically speaking, the fourth largest telecommunication company in the United States reported losing roughly 526,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter alone. In fact, it is also made worse with more than 802,000 of its contractual subscribers being lost to competing companies all around the country. This is definitely a bad thing because such a staggering amount may be a recipe for disaster for the company especially when contractual plans are often the most profitable ones.

T-Mobile is one of the few companies that did not adopt iPhone to its contract packages. Thus why the company sees its subscribers fleeing to companies such as AT&T, Verizon or Sprint to get the iPhone package. However, T-Mobile is planning to do a $4 billion upgrade on its networks so we shall see how the future for that will be.
