Jennifer’s Touch- Posting Sans Notebook…

Hello everyone, this post is coming to you from my iPod Touch. I am doing this for several reasons;

1. My laptop is out of commission. Time to call in the big guns! Wayne is not able to make it work and all I seem to do is cause it to freeze even more then normal.
2. When our guy Dan was trying to convince to take this big step he said " you can even write your posts from the touch". So I figured it is a good time to test this "brilliant idea".
3. My favorite reason

BECAUSE I CAN!

When I last posted I was asking for help syncing my contacts from my Yahoo account to my iTouch. I thank everyone for their advice and support. Thank you swim4life for once again posting the idiot’s guide to the iTouch, you rock!

I followed your directions to the T but I was unable to successfully accomplish the task, but I think it is a case of a disgruntled computer. It freezes as soon as I ask it to do anything. While Ibwad discussing my situation with Wayne he quickly said "did you read my post (on Geardiary) about neuvasync?"

I smiled, said I saw it but sadly I hadn’t read it. He gave me the hairy eyeball, a quick grin and said, you need to get a gmail account and then use neuvasync! And that my friends was the end of the discussion! When I briefly shared my reason for the lack of postings with our guy Dan he sympathetically said …….."get a mac"

So, I did manage to set up a google account but can do nothing until I get my laptop fixed. Once I do I will be attempting to sync contacts again, somehow. I will, hopefully be able to use your previous instructions or be reporting on how easy and wonderful neuvasync is to use. Only time will tell.

My mission of typing a post exclusively from the iTouch was accomplished in exactly 8 hours. Typing with one thumb is slow and tedious. I hit send once, by accident, was distracted by the sounds of incoming emails, but ultimately the real reason is that I fell asleep about an hour into it. I estimate the whole process would have taken me about 2 hours. If I could master 2 thumb typing I could cut my time significantly.
