It wasn’t a long time ago that Apple had announced the new iPad which is a replacement for the iPad 2 and now, the device is up for grabs for a few countries around the world. The lucky people in the countries of U.S, Japan, U.K, Singapore, Canada and a few others can now purchase the device from Apple’s official retailer nearby. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised to see people from other countries travelling to get their hands on one of these devices as well.

The new and improved iPad has a few features that the old one lacked. For example, the quad-core graphics processor, codenamed A5X, is one of the highlights of the device, including a Retina display. These two would mean an improved experience in both games as well as the daily usage as it does mean displays better than any other tablets in the market. In addition to that, 4G LTE capability and a 5 MP iSight camera is also available on the new iPad.

With the price starting at $499 for the Wi-Fi version and $629 for the Wi-Fi+4G version, it replaces the pricing scheme of the iPad 2. In fact, those that want to get the iPad 2 can do so at a price of $399 instead.
