Pinch Media and Flurry Merge

Peter Farago, VP/Marketing at the mobile analytics firm Flurry wrote to inform us that they’ve merged with Pinch Media.

The combined company, which will retain the Flurry name, boasts impressive iPhone and Android coverage: four out of five iPhones and two out of three Android devices run apps that use analytics from the company.

With any merger/acquisition the first question on people’s minds relate to continued availability. Flurry promises that Pinch Media analytics customers won’t see a disruption in services, but directs new customers to sign up for the Flurry offering. They further state that they’ll continue to offer a free analytics offering.
