The topic about the future iPhone is definitely one that is hot in the web. This is because the device is a highly popularized phone that it plays such a big deal in the smartphone market. Siri for example, revolutionized the voice recognition system while FaceTime reignited a technology that has already been present for quite some time.

Last year’s iPhone 4S was released in October instead of June on which an announcement for a new device always happen. The iPhone 5 on the other hand might not follow the October timeline like last year but would rather be announced sometime in June. In fact, the specific date that Daiwa Securities mentioned is at Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference in June 2012.

Another thing that is worth noting is that Daiwa Securities also mentioned that a “glass to glass” touch panel technology will be used. This feature will allow Wintek or TPK holding to be the main manufacturer of the glass panel and thus benefit them heavily.

However, there are still chances that Apple will hold off the release of a new version of iPhone particularly because the iPhone 4S is still selling like hotcakes in many countries. Announcing the newer version on October instead of June may prove to be profitable for them in the long run.
