Previously, there were rumors stating that the next iPhone will be launched as early as June. While many people have rubbed it off, those that still trust this news can shrug it off as well because analysts claimed that it is not possible for the new iPhone to be launched at June instead of October like what it has been done like last year.

The source for this news is no other than Qualcomm which is a company that manufactures the chip for iPhone. The company claims that it is having a hard time meeting demands of customers especially on its high-end chips. Apple is one of them and is expected to use the company’s 28-nm MDM9615 chip which has 4G LTE capability. However, due to the shortage of supply, chances are is that to have a new iPhone by June would be an impossible task.

An analyst for Piper Jaffray, Gene Munster said that although he initially expected the iPhone to be released on August, October seems like a more probably date for the company to release their new iPhone. Nonetheless, the demand for the iPhone 4S is still going strong so it wouldn’t be economical for them to release a product so soon.
