Anyone that has an iPhone and does jailbreaking every now and then would have heard about Redsn0w. It is certainly one of the best jailbreaking utility for iPhone and every now and then, new version of it keeps on appearing and each for a different version of iOS. Most often than not, Redsn0w produces jailbreaking tool to upgrade the iOS but this is not the case this time.

In the future, Redsn0w says that the team are working on a hack that could downgrade their iOS. This is apparently useful for those that have upgraded their iPhone to version 5.1 or 5.1.1. With the future update, those that have updated to the aforementioned versions can choose to once again get the iOS 5.0.1. This in return, will enable them to use the Absinthe untethered jailbreak. However, those that have received their iPhone in the latest OS version might actually have trouble downgrading as this method requires the user to have saved their SHSH blobs.

In other news, AT&T will be launching a family data plan soon. Users will be able to share a pool of data with their family members that are registered under the same line. Verizon is also expected to launch a family plan in the future.
