A lot of people speculated that if and when Apple releases a 4G LTE iPhone, it will be made exclusively for AT&T and Verizon as these two companies already have their 4G LTE network set up for quite some time. However, Sprint’s CFO stated that the company is free to offer a 4G LTE iPhone should Apple decided to release one later in the future.

There are high hopes that this will happen considering that the new iPad already have 4G LTE networking capability. However, this may pose a problem to Sprint as it has just started to equip its networks with 4G capability and it may take some time before the coverage will be as good as the two companies mentioned before. Regardless, Sprint is determined to expand its coverage as much as possible so that by the time a 4G iPhone device is released, the company will be ready for it.

The next iPhone is speculated to be released some time on October this year which comes is of no surprise to many considering that the iPhone 4S was released on the same month last year. A lot of people expect that by the time the 4G LTE iPhone is released, Sprint won’t be far behind in terms of coverage.
