The iPhone 4S has successfully released on the 14th and demands for the device is soaring. Some buy the phone early because they have been anticipating for it while others try to make money of it, or destroy it in the case with iFixit.

iFixit along with another company IHS iSuppli did the thing that they do often: take devices apart but this time it isn’t just any device that they ripped open, it’s the iPhone 4S. The results of it bring about some startling yet pleasing information about the device.

The iPhone 4S currently uses the A5 processor which is Apple’s newest and fastest mobile processor as of date.  The dual-core processor is clocked at 1GHz and the device also has a 512MB LPDDR memory which is startling considering we were hoping to see that the iPhone 4S have a 1GB RAM at the minimum. However, this may also be a good thing as it shows how efficient the operating system is on the iPhone. It needs only a maximum of 512MB to run everything that is necessary, a lot less as compared with the competing operating system such as Android.

The iPhone 4S also has two different radio that can be used which is the CDMA and HSPA (aka GSM). The camera is better as well with the 8 megapixel camera present inside it.
