The new iPad may be one of the few devices that have been horribly marketed. In fact, no such device had created such a bad image for the Cupertino based company other than the new iPad. This whole problem revolves around a technology that has been hugely debated worldwide and it is no other than the 4G technology.

The iPad certainly comes with 4G connectivity but it only works in the United States and Canada. However, when Apple decided to market the device with 4G connectivity in other countries, it causes a discontent amongst its customers especially after they have found out that the 4G connectivity would not work in the other countries. Because of this, the United Kingdom’s advertising authority may be looking into this false advertising claim by Apple.

The problem in the United Kingdom is that 4G connectivity is still considered to be non-existent. In fact, the auction for the spectrum will not even be finalized till the end of the year which means that it may take some time before the country even have a 4G connectivity, let alone has one that would accommodate the 4G capability in the iPad. Nevertheless, it is certainly a problem that Apple has overlooked and that would not mean good business either.
