Bloody Bunnies! The name is suggestive, isn’t it? And don’t you think that’s a cute bunny on the right? Well, believe me, he is not. He is one of natures more deadly traps, trained from the beginning to kill you. At least, when you are playing Bloody Bunnies, that is.

Just for the sake of non-blood lovers, there is a no-blood option. You can play without needing to see any gore. But I’d love a very gore option, I missed more blood. So… what’s the game about?

It’s a multiplayer deathmatch, capture the flag (capture the carrot) and survival game. And it’s damn silly. But it’s damn fun. To make this review I was just about to test everything and get a few screenshots. I ended up being quickly beaten to trashes on level 27 of the survival mode. Yes, level 27. This means in just this "quick testing" I killed more than 100 rabbits.

What’s it about? Well, the main notion is that you kill (bloody or non bloody) a rabbit by jumping over him. This also includes rabbits that jump beneath you (keep this in mind if you are wandering around the map). There are 3 modes of play, 2 of them being multiplayer modes. But don’t worry, there are bots to play with if you are lonely. In one, "capture the carrot", as I jokingly call it, you have to get hold of 5 carrots lying around the place to win. This is hard. In the other multiplayer mode you have to be the first to kill 10 bunnies.

And then, in survival, you face increasingly harder onslaughts of cute little bunnies… And via the custom settings panel, can be played by two players on the same device! Enemy bunnies start being white, and then go to yellow, green and violet. Damn violet, killed me 4 times in a row in level 26. As the color changes, they get faster and (maybe it’s just my imagination) smarter. After all, the white bunnies are dumb enough to keep quiet before being smashed by you. There’s also teleports and bumpers. Great fun.

Only to round it, you have many, many in-game achievements, like Hero: killed 100 rabbits (if I remember correctly). The achievement system is through OpenFeint, and I’m happy to admit I am the second scorer for survival after a developer with 36 levels. I’ll get you Brice.Mw!

Damn fun. You’ll be able to get it tomorrow, bookmark this page and refresh: tomorrow we’ll have the link!
