Okay, so, you’re looking for a new car and you don’t really have all the information you need to make an informed decision. Well, a new App called Car and Driver’s Buying Guide from Car and Driver will go a long way to help you find all the information you need to make your decision as easy as possible.
Open the Car and Driver’s Buying Guide App and you will see two swipe windows. One window allows you to find information based on the manufacturer – from Acura to Volvo and anything in between, even exotic manufacturers like Ferrari! A second swipe window allows you to select a model from those manufacturers. You can also use the 6 buttons that allow you to choose from latest reviews, editor’s choice, a price range, the most researched models and even the models that get the best fuel mileage.
To get started, choose a manufacturer and choose a model and the screen brings up that model’s variations with pricing. You can get an overview, reviews, specifications (such as trim levels and options), and even see a photo gallery. You can also choose to see the competitive vehicles, in order to help you make a more informed decision.
A really neat feature of the App is called My Garage. When you are on the model you are interested in, tap the plus sign at the top of the page and it will add the model into My Garage to be referenced later. All in all, Car and Driver’s Buying Guide is a great way to help you search for your next new car. It provides you with a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips and it is easy to use. Best of all, Car and Driver’s Buying Guide is Free in the App store.
